July/August 2008 - Scuba Diving.

Interested in Scuba diving as one of your disciplines? We are arranging a trip to the South China Sea next year about July/ August time for 3 weeks.

In this course we will take you from never dived before to Rescue diver. Along with shopping in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia’s capital city) were scuba diving equipment is a third of the price compared to the UK. So if you are think of taking scuba diving for the test this is a great opportunity to get your first 3 modules of your dive master qualification in the beautiful island of Perhentian in the south China sea. This beats diving in the channel hands down! Also we will be filming and photographing you so it all goes to a successful application to the register! This will be a three week trip! Whilst in the Far East we can also arrange martial arts training in Wushu in Kuala Lumpur if so desired.

Summer in the London Stunt School 08

OK we are tied up with a very large Kung Fu Comp in Malaysia until September. Then after that we will be running the following:

• An Evening with Mr Roy Scammell September 08 .

  • Mr Scammell is something of a legend and will be giving a talk of how to get into the action entertainment industry along with a Q&A session at the end. Who is Roy Scammell? Do a Google search for info about him. Tickets will £15 for the Sunday 14th September 08. Venue: The London Stunt School in Wembley.

• High falling course (8 metre’s) September 08 .

  • This will either be run at Big Top Stunts and action in South Ruislip, Middx or Europa Gymnastics Centre in Erith, Kent. If you are interested in this please advise of best location. This will be run on the weekend at the end of September 2008.
    Cost £100 for Basic package. For photos and filming there will be an additional charge. This is a 1 day course.

• Film Fighting Course October 08 .

  • We will also be running a Choreographed Violence Course. We are changing our course to just one 10 week course, covering: unarmed, rapier & dagger, short sword and cudgel.
    In this course we will bring in directors and stunt coordinators to work with the group. The performance will be tested and filmed.
    Course starts in October Sunday 5th and concludes Sunday 7th December with test & filming. This course runs for 10 consecutive Sundays 10am – 5pm. Cost £500.

• Stair falling Sunday 14th December 08.
  • This is the last stair falling course - only four places left! Hurry only £240 at the London Stunt School, Wembley. Check out “Thick as Thieves” on YouTube which demonstrates stair falling. For further details drop us a line.
