Welcome to the new London Stunt School Website.
We hope you find all the information you need on your journey to becoming a British stunt performer.
For questions regarding entry on to the Stunt Register please contact Equity – The Actors Union – or the Joint Industries Stunt Committee.
For all the other info such as where to go, how much, how long etc, we are here to help. But once all the talking is done it will be up to you to knuckle down and get on with it – no exceptions!
Since the Stunt School opened for business in 1997, the Stunt Register has changed enormously. The level of ability needed for a successful application is almost professional in some of the disciplines. Please do not forget that over the years hundreds of people have died performing stunts, so this high level of training is essential. The new breed of stunt performer is now fit, strong and multi-talented, which can only help with longevity in this profession.
So if this is all you ever wanted to do, you're in for the long haul. Please think of it as similar to going to university: three or four years of hard work, leaving home and spending a lot of money is all part of it.
What does the London Stunt School offer:
The London Stunt School runs courses teaching how to perform certain stunts.
We employ stunt coordinators and performers to help run the courses so students can ask the professionals questions and get qualified advice.
What The London Stunt School doesn't do:
The London Stunt School does not guarantee entry on to the British Stunt Register.
The London Stunt School does not do it all for you!
The London Stunt School does not provide short cuts. The process of learning skills takes time and dedication.
