Dear Potential Stunt Person,

Thank for your interest in our courses. With regard to our stunt school. We do not guarantee entry into the stunt business. I don’t think any school of any learning guarantees instant success. Some our students listen to all the advice we offer, and have success and some do not, those we cannot help. We also do not advocate taking short cuts. You must get on the equity register, then you will get to work along side the greats in the business and learn from them. All we offer is experience that you can only usually get on set. These are not a replacement for the qualifications required by the stunt committee but are designed to help you get your foot in the door.

We offer a number of courses and relevant qualifications and advise regular customers with career paths in the stunt industry. In addition if you attend our courses you will receive photographs and video footage which you can use to showcase your talent!

We are now starting to get people jobs in background; specialised events, game shows etc. so hopefully we can earn you some money. When undertaking this career take your time and learn your craft. You will find that no one will take you seriously until you have experience in relevant fields. So take your time, you have plenty to learn and many skills to master. Think of it as going to university for three years and the money that would cost, getting on the register is similar in time span and cost.

Course Accomodation. We have hotels near the centre that charge £35 per night upwards; some courses such as horse stunts have accommodation for £8 per night in the bunk house.  So, decide if it is definitely something that you want to pursue knowing that it takes a lot of time, money and hard work. Make sure that you are happy being behind the camera as the unsung hero rather than in front of it as the star. With that decided, write to Equity and get the up to date qualifications and get to work.
